SF-56 Software

The SF-56 spectrophotometer software is a Windows application with an intuitive graphical user interface. All results are saved in a standard text format compatible with the Windows file system. The interface includes tooltips and a built-in Help system.

Each time the instrument is switched on, an initial self-test is performed automatically, allowing its operational status to be quickly assessed. The diagnostic results are displayed on the computer screen. A step-by-step testing system is also provided to help monitor the technical condition of the instrument throughout its service life.

The software supports several operating modes:
Spectral Scanning over a Specified Range
The screenshot below shows the SF-56 software in spectral scanning mode. Clicking the Processing button opens a new window where the acquired spectrum can be processed using various mathematical operations. Characteristic points and their corresponding wavelengths can also be identified automatically or manually.
Point Measurement of Optical Density or Transmittance
This mode is designed to measure the optical density or transmittance of one or more samples at a specified wavelength. The measurement results are displayed in a table, with a separate window available for mathematical data processing.
Kinetic Curve Acquisition
In this mode, the user can set the time parameters for measuring changes in the optical properties of a sample and perform mathematical processing of the resulting kinetic curve.
Concentration Measurement Mode
The SF-56 software includes an automated function for creating analytical methods based on calibration curves. Polynomial functions of degree greater than 1, removal of invalid measurements, and replicate measurement series are supported. Methods can be saved to the computer and retrieved at any time for subsequent concentration measurements using the selected method.
